Live Music by Chris Murphy
Chris Murphy has been a professional musician in the Kingston area for over 20 years, and has toured across Canada, as well as performances in the US, Ireland, and China. Chris got his start in the Celtic/East Coast band Shores of Newfoundland, and later founded the band Crooked Wood. Presently, he is a member of the Folk/Celtic band Turpin’s Trail.

King of the Swingers has energized festivals, fairgrounds, street concerts, and parties with their upbeat, energized, approach to Dixie music for more than twenty years. King of the Swingers hold the all-time record for most performances by a single group at the Stewart Park Festival, Perth with more than twenty performances over ten years. Come out and join, Mowgli, Baloo, and King Louie, to dance and sing with King of the Swingers!
Live Music by Teilhard Frost
Teilhard Frost is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in traditional fiddle tunes, with a particular interest in the Appalachian Mountains. He has spent the last twelve years touring with critically acclaimed band Sheesham, Lotus and Son, and is currently featuring his latest solo album, As the Crow Flies. Jason Mercer will be joining Teilhard on banjo.

Bry the Magic Guy has been performing magic for over 15 years, for audiences for all ages. Bring your family out to Centennial Park on Sunday morning to watch Bry perform at the Open Farms Community Hub.

Kids' Thank a Farmer Creative Tent
Description: Hosted by the Harrowsmith Social & Athletic Club, the kids creative tent will offer an opportunity to acknowledge and thank the very people Open Farms strives to celebrate - our farmers and producers.
Custom thank you cards will be available to colour, decorate, and include a special message to our farmers. Kids can either take the cards home, deliver them to their favourite farmer, or or leave them with Open Farms hosts to post online for all our local farmers to see!
Kids can also take part in the Open Farms Colouring Contest (more info coming soon).

Tractor and Plow Display by Frontenac County Plowmen's Association
Description: As a Chapter Member of the Ontario Plowmen's Association, the Frontenac County Plowmen's Association (FCPA) has a long tradition of promoting farming and plowing in rural Ontario.
At the Open Farms Community Hub, the Association will be displaying the farm equipment used to get the job done, including a tractor, a plow and other tools. Learn more about the skill, dedication and patience required to be a plowman at Open Farms.

Harrowsmith Brewing Company Beer Garden
Description: Renovated in the summer of 2017, the now Harrowsmith Brewing Company was once owned by a Canadian Soldier who fought in the war of 1812. He was then given the farm after his dedication to his country and for his service.
Today, Harrowsmith Brewing Co. aspires to have the best beer, food and event venue in the community. Coming soon to the property is the Brewery Tasting Room, where visitors will be welcomed to have some of the best craft beer and food in the area using local and Ontario sourced ingredients wherever possible. They also host special events, weddings and private parties in their beautifully renovated barn venue.
