During Open Farms 2021, two restaurants will offer special menus built around local ingredients. After exploring real working farms, you're invited to cap off your day by diving into a taste of the region through expertly-prepared dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients.
Aqua Terra

Menu Description:
Beet trio: Made with cured Biedmond yogurt, Kricklewoods Farm sunflower oil, spelt flake granola, Salt of the Earth beets 3 ways, Kingston Olive Oil Company Saba reduction and Patchwork Gardens micro greens.
Enright Cattle Co. Striploin: Made with Patchwork Gardens carrot puree, charred onion, Funghi Connection blue oyster mushroom, highland blue potato croquette, demi glace and Burt’s red sorrel.
Biedmond’s Yogurt panna cotta: Made with Hogan’s wildflower honey, toasted walnuts and roasted stone fruit.

The Hotel on Wolfe Island

Enjoy a delicious three course meal prepared with local ingredients.
Summer salad: Made with Wolfe Island heirloom tomatoes, County Wine poached Ontario peaches, Wolfe Island eggplant babaganoosh and grilled halloumi.
Smoked short ribs: Made with smoked and braised de Ruiter Beef short ribs, Wolfe Island confit fingerlings and Wolfe Island tomatillo salsa verde.
Creme Brulee: Made with local dairy and eggs.
Cost: $52 or $74 with a wine pairing.
