The Wolfe Island Gallery displays curated fine arts and artisanal creations from artists who live within or have connections to Frontenac Islands. Wolfe Island Gallery provides a meeting place to mentor and foster creativity through workshops, exhibitions and competitions.
- Back Roads Studio Tour Multiple locations, North Frontenac
Located in North Frontenac, and taking place annually on the final weekend in September, the Back Roads Studio Tour features artists and artisans that create works of art through different mediums. The organizing group is working hard to plan the 2021 event now. Keep an eye out for details and a list of artists coming soon.

Located in the countryside of North Frontenac, Jenna draws each illustration and and pattern by hand to create printed textiles inspired by her daily life and surroundings. Jenna offers a variety of beautiful pieces such as bags, baskets, journals & day planners and tea towels & napkins. If you are purchasing from Jenna's studio, ask about her husband's cheese shop (Back Forty Artisan Cheese) to discover one of many hand crafted artisanal cheeses. - Mariclaro Sustainable Designs 14259 Road 509, Snow Road Station
Since 2008, Mariclaro has been making bags and accessories using repurposed materials such as vintage automotive interiors and aviation materials. Mariclaro sources most of the materials to make bags and accessories from local wrecking yards. Debbie believes quilts are a work or art and loves that you can be as creative as you want when quilting. Turning the old into something new, Denis and Martine at My Old Cher restore and upcycle old furniture, customizing the product to suite each client and making products with a twist of colour and different textures of fabric. - Litsie Creations
With a passion for sewing and creating, Susan from Litsie creations has previously worked in a fabric store and as a family studies teacher. Litsie features a variety of products such as snack bags, wet bags, quilted toiletry bags and cork products. Wristlets are erfect for a cell phone, mask and bank card. Purchase through Etsy, or in Frontenac at local shops like Lavallee's Cookery.
- Opening Minds Innovations 1072 Kippawa Point Lane, Sharbot Lake
Opening Minds Innovations offers handmade sculpture creations from paverpol (a water based decoration and textile hardener). If you are looking to learn more and bring out your creative side, Opening Minds Innovations hosts workshops that teach you how to make a variety of different creations. Owner and artist Liz also does commissions.

Timber by Tucker creates stunning pieces of wood art that also serve as functional furniture. Each piece has a unique design and is a true work of art. Artists
- Arden Batik 1037 Bridge Street, Arden
Batik is an ancient form of fabric decoration created with alternative applications of hot wax and dye. Sarah, the owner of Adren Batik, creates original batiks that are drawn freehand with melted wax on cotton, silk, hemp or wool fabric. Sarah is one of very few artists in North America that specializes in Batik and has found the process uniquely suited to capturing the colours and textures of the Canadian Shield.
- Art by the Baileys
Art by the Baileys is owned by artists Brian and Leane Bailey who create art using graphite, coloured pencil, and pastels to create drawings of animals, birds, pets, people, homes, cottages, and landscapes. Brian and Leane offer clients the opportunity to have pieces created specifically for them and also sell their artwork at local art shows, crafts shows, and studio tours in Eastern Ontario. - Debbie Reeve Art Studio 2544 Road 506, Cloyne
Debbie Reeve is an accomplished artist who creates paintings inspired by the world around her. Debbie has recently become a GOLDEN Artist Educator and completed a diploma at the Haliburton School of the Arts. Having worked extensively in watercolour, Debbie has moved to using acrylic encaustic and mixed media artwork, abstract and non-objective styles, as well as exploring the use of colour and texture.
- Red Dragon Studio 1091 Ridge Lane, North Frontenac
As the owner of Red Dragon Studio, Cathy Owen expresses her artwork through watercolour paintings, stained glass, and various artisan gifts. While Cathy is mainly self taught, she has taken courses at the Ottawa School of Art and loves sharing her art with others. Cathy also operates a gallery and gift shops where she is open by chance and by appointment.
