The Frontenac Discovery Guide is Frontenac County’s mobile app. It highlights businesses throughout Frontenac County and encourages residents and visitors to the region to make a visit. Community members are encouraged to sign up and collect points at each local business they visit.  Points are redeemable for a variety of rewards at local businesses.

It’s easy to participate, and there is no cost to the user; 
  • Download the Frontenac Discovery Guide (the app) - App Store or Google Play 
  • See the business reward offers on the app.
  • Visit businesses to make purchases.
  • Collect points at participating businesses. 
  • Redeem points for rewards at participating businesses.

Thank you to everyone that participated in Shop Local in Frontenac. This campaign is now done and we are planning for the next one. Be sure to sign up for the app and visit local businesses to collect and redeem points.

Shop Local In Frontenac CHALLENGES

The challenges below will run from November 23 through until December 21, 2022.

Bonus Points 

Bonus Points to be added to your account each week for collection of points. 

  • 20 bonus points for anyone who collected points at 3 locations that week.
  • 50 bonus points for anyone who collected points at 5 locations that week.
  • 100 bonus points for anyone who collected points at 8 locations that week. 

Those receiving bonus points will not be contacted, the points will be added directly to their account. 

Weekly Draws 

Collect points at least once during the week and you will be entered into a draw:

  • To win $100 in local gift cards. 
  • To win a Frontenac County hoody. 

Draws to take place on November 30, December 7, 14, and 21 at 12:00 noon.  

Winners will be contacted by email. 

Redemption Prizes  

  • Redeem points at a business location 10 times for a free Frontenac County toque. 
  • Redeem points at a business location 25 times for a free Frontenac County hoody. 

Redeem points at a business location between November 23 and December 21 at 12 noon for your chance to win a Frontenac County branded toque or hoody depending on the number of redemptions.
